Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Dermo mobile app and dermo.no (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

The service

Dermo provides AI-assisted information about skin lesions and changes over time. The Service is a tool, and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice. See the medical disclaimer for the full details.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity on your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service, and the information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Upload images of anyone other than yourself without their clear consent.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified clinician.

Intellectual property

Dermo and our content (apart from the photos and notes you upload yourself) are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. You retain full ownership of any photos and notes you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided as is, without warranties. We do not guarantee that AI assessments are accurate or complete. You use the Service at your own risk and accept that AI can make mistakes.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Norwegian law, Dermo and our team are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and any disputes will be resolved in the Norwegian courts.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app.
